Get into pairs with someone. Stand towards each other and look softly in each other’s eyes.
First the focus of both people goes inwards. Stand in a comfortable position with knees slightly bent. Turn your inner focus to your hip bone and imagine there is a delicious fruit bowl there. If you tilt your hip bone forward or backward, the fruits may fall off the bowl. Maintain a balance so the fruits stay in the bowl while keeping your hips and stomach muscles relaxed.
Imagine roots growing into the ground from under your feet.
Imagine bunny ears grow upwards from the back of your head and they pull your head slightly upwards.
Relax your arms, hands and shoulders. Beware that your spine is not contracted.
Then turn your focus outwards and for a while look at your partner’s eyes in a way as if you are communicating through your eyes.
After a while focus on your breathing. As you inhale, imagine that you take all the energies that your partner offers you. As you exhale, share your inner world with your partner.
While you inhale, listen to your partner’s breath and to what she offers you. Transform the inhaled breath in your body.
While you exhale, share what you have transformed.
In this practice, breathing is considered as a method of communication and bond formation with your partner.
When you continue to breathe in and out together with your partner as if you are in a dialogue, after 5-6 minutes you will feel a sudden revival in your body and soul. On the other hand, if you take in the breath quickly without listening to your partner, you will be out of breath after a while.
During this work, it is recommended that you open all the senses in your body so you could give a good listening to your partner at every level of your being.
Suggested time for this practice is around 9-10 minutes. You might feel a bit dizzy after that. Beware you ground yourself at the end.
